Duluth, GA's Dependable Gutter Contractor

Every heavy rain reminded Kenneth that his home in Duluth, GA, had a gutter problem. The smaller gutters that had been installed years earlier simply couldn't handle the volume of water coming off his roof, and overflow during storms had become a recurring frustration. Seeking a lasting solution, Kenneth contacted Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta for an estimate on a full gutter replacement and met with the team to explore his options.

After discussing the specifics of his home and the drainage issues he faced, Kenneth decided on the Gutter Shutter HV (High Volume) system in black, which is specifically designed to move more water, faster than standard residential gutters. The team began by removing and disposing of 187 linear feet of the old, undersized gutters, as well as 16 feet of fascia board that had been damaged over the years.

The new installation included 187 linear feet of Gutter Shutter HV, inside and outside corners, a Gutter Shutter High Flow Inside Corner, and seven Wide Mouth Outlets, all finished in matching black. To complete the system, 144 linear feet of black 3x4 downspouts were installed, along with a Drop-In Downspout for a seamless, polished look.

Kenneth's home now boasts a gutter system designed to handle the heavy rainfall that previously caused issues, proving that the right system, selected with informed guidance, can eliminate years of drainage headaches.

Nestled in an affluent Atlanta suburb known for its gated communities, beautiful homes, and proximity to Sugarloaf’s premier country club lifestyle, this stunning property deserved a gutter system that matched its high-end appeal. The homeowner reached out to Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta for a reliable solution after noticing issues with runoff and overflowing gutters during storms. The previous gutter system simply wasn’t built to handle Georgia’s unpredictable weather, and Ariel outlined a plan to install a premium, high-capacity gutter system engineered to eliminate clogging and channel water away from the home. Once approved, the installation crew got to work, removing the old gutters, preparing the fascia, and fitting a custom, seamless system built for long-term performance. James knew something needed to change after another season of clogged, overflowing gutters at his Duluth home. The old system was no longer performing, and every storm left water pouring in the wrong places. Rather than continue paying for repairs and cleanings, he contacted Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta to discuss a full replacement.

The solution was a complete RainDrop gutter upgrade. The installation team first removed and hauled away the underperforming gutter system. They then installed 279 linear feet of new RainDrop gutters along with black inside and outside corners featuring Wide Mouth Outlets. A Drop-In Downspout system and new 3x4 downspouts were also installed to maximize drainage. These larger outlets and downspouts work together to move more water quickly, helping prevent the kind of backups and overflow James had experienced with his previous gutters.

After the project was finished, the difference was easy to see. The crisp black gutters gave the house a fresh, upgraded appearance, while the new system provided the dependable performance James had been looking for. Because the RainDrop and Gutter Shutter-style systems are designed to keep debris out while maintaining strong water flow, James can now enjoy less maintenance and better protection for his home year-round.

Have you heard the term "builder grade?"  Home builders almost always utilize the cheapest gutters and water management products available on the market.  This can lead to costly damage over time to your home and most valuable asset. Water in the basement or crawlspace, foundation issues, and siding damage to name a few.

Ms. Lori of Duluth, GA had original builder grade 5" gutters on her home.  The gutters were made of thin metal material, which had bent and buckled throughout.  Additionally, the weak brackets holding the gutter to the home were releasing so the gutters were not properly managing the water away from the home.  In areas, water had gone behind the gutters, causing the fascia to rot.  To compound the issue, leaves and debris were frequently clogging the gutters causing water to not flow through the downspouts and away from the home.  Additional water damage would be inevitable.

Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta designs a seamless gutter that effectively manages the rain water, while preventing clogging from leaves and debris.  Extensive fascia repair was also completed to ensure a solid foundation for the gutters. The Gutter Shutter system includes a lifetime warranty to never clog and we guarantee it won't sag or pull away from the home.  Ms. Lori was extremely happy with the outcome and how nice the gutters look on her home.  No more water damage worries for Ms. Lori!
