Braselton, GA Open K-Style Gutter Installation
Challenge
We met Salvador at the 2025 North Atlanta Home Show. He came into our booth and began talking with one of our gutter design specialists, Mark. The homeowner began explaining the issues he was having with his gutters. He and Mark decided it would be best for him to set an appointment to have Mark come out and provide him with a thorough inspection of his gutter system.
Solution
On the day of the appointment Mark met with the homeowner and they walked the property together while Mark checked out his areas of concern. Once they were finished Mark discussed his findings with Salvador. It was discovered that there was leaves and debris stuck in the downspout that was attached to the underground drainage system.. This was causing water to backup in the downspout all the way up to the gutter where the homeowner had noticed leaking from the corner. Mark suggested replacing the entire run of gutters on the back of his home. Along with replacing the downspout, adding wide mouth outlets and a strainer basket at the bottom of the new downspout to ensure that the system was working appropriately and clogging would no longer be an issue. They also rerouted one of the downspouts away from the homes foundation instead of a poorly placed downspout that was dumping water right next to his home.
