In a recent job for a 3,700-square-foot Atlanta home built in 2006, which had no existing gutters. Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta provided Reginald a free on-site estimate. After reviewing the roof and drainage needs, we recommended installing 86 feet of open K-style gutters plus 52 feet of raindrop gutters with wide-mouth outlets to handle runoff effectively. Our crew installed the seamless gutter system using heavy-duty aluminum, 6-inch gutters and wide-mouth outlets, components that allow about 20% more rainwater flow compared with standard 5-inch gutter systems. The design also includes oversized downspouts and gutter guards to prevent leaves, debris, and pine needles from clogging the system. The result: a clean, low-maintenance drainage system that’s guaranteed never to clog, sag, or pull away, offering reliable protection from water damage to the roof, siding, foundation, and landscaping.
