Gutter Installation Photo Album: Rain Drop Gutter System | Gutter Installation
When Sriram, a homeowner in Marietta, GA, noticed his existing gutters were aging, undersized, and failing to direct rainwater properly, with incomplete downspouts and rotting fascia and soffit, it was clear his home needed a serious upgrade. He reached out to Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta for a professional evaluation and a hassle-free estimate. After meeting with Ariel, our experienced and trusted sales consultant, Sriram was impressed by the recommendations, especially the suggestion to install the premium Gutter Shutter® System. This all-in-one gutter solution features 6” seamless gutters made from robust .032-gauge aluminum with an integrated gutter guard that is designed to never clog or pull away from the home, helping protect against water damage, debris buildup, and costly maintenance for years to come.
During the installation, our team removed and disposed of the old gutters, fascia, and soffit, repaired damaged areas, and installed over 140 feet of replacement Raindrop® gutters along with key upgrades such as wide mouth outlets, 3x4 downspouts, and drop-in downspouts to maximize water flow. We also added an above-ground black 4-inch flex pipe to direct runoff safely away from the foundation. The Gutter Shutter® System’s perforated hood and surface tension design keep leaves and debris out while allowing water to flow freely, and the patented GutterStud brackets ensure the new gutters will never sag or pull away from Sriram’s home. With these improvements, Sriram now enjoys a high-capacity, low-maintenance gutter system backed by a lifetime no-clog guarantee and enhanced curb appeal.
Old gutter system
This is one section of the gutters where the soffit is damaged. The biggest problem becomes the underbelly rotting out.
A closer look at the damaged soffit & fascia
Once we were close enough, now we can see the rotting wood is affecting both the fascia & soffit.
No downspout?
Why a small section of a downspout wasn't installed is a mystery. The previous contractor decided it was necessary. This will allow water to shoot across the roof and most likely, over shoot the roof and pool along the side of the foundation....more problems on the horizon.
Separating Gutter Guards
These broken and separated guards will allow debris and small animals to make a new home, which can only be a big problem for any homeowner.
Damaged Gutter Guards
These plastic Gutter Guards are historically not the best option due to the durability issues. This only caused additional issues to become a reality.

Proper Downspouts installed
When a Gutter System is correctly put together, it makes a world of difference. Our install team did a great job of properly cutting the gutters and making them fit perfectly.
