Gutter Shutter of Greater Atlanta recently completed a full gutter replacement for the owner of the home, Cydney, whose existing system could no longer keep up with heavy rain. The project included the removal and disposal of approximately 60 feet of old gutters, downspouts, and hardware, clearing the way for a modern, high-capacity solution. Before installation began, the crew relocated portable landscaping items and outdoor décor to protect the property and ensure a clean, efficient work area.   The new system featured 6-inch open-top, seamless K-style gutters, fabricated on site from commercial-grade .032 thick aluminum for added strength and durability. To maximize water flow and prevent overflow, the installation included four inside and outside corners, along with Gutter Shutter high-flow inside corners. A total of 160 feet of white 3x4 downspout was installed at strategically selected locations to move water safely away from the home’s foundation.     During the installation process, the team inspected the fascia boards and replaced any rotted sections to ensure the new gutters would remain securely fastened over time. Once the system was installed and tested for proper pitch and drainage, all materials were cleaned up, and Cydney’s property was returned to its original condition. The completed gutter system now delivers improved performance, enhanced curb appeal, and long-term protection from water damage.
