Challenge

The homeowner, David, called in requesting some expert advise.  He was having various issues with his current gutter system and wasn't sure what he should do to correct them.  The homes current gutters were pulling away from the home, getting clogged with tons of leaves and water was shooting over the top of them.  He was also noticing pools of water near the foundation of his home and was worried about this potentially causing extreme damage to his foundation.

Solution

We sent our design specialist James out to visit with the homeowner.  After listen to all of David's concerns James performed a full gutter evaluation.  While he was doing his inspection he noticed there appeared to be areas where the gutters had began to pull away from the homeowners fascia board, clogged gutters and downspouts.  He also made notes of the areas of extreme soft ground next to his foundation where water had obviously been collecting right up next to the home.  There was also evidence that the water was leaking behind the gutters as well which could indicate fascia rot on the home.  Luckily after further inspection it was determined this homeowner had caught the early signs of distress and we were able to get his new gutter protection system installed before significant damage happened to his home.
